Meet Dr. Morayo Adisa
Knowledge and Compassion
Dr. Morayo Adisa is a respected dermatologist and dermatology educator. She is an expert in the diagnosis and care of skin conditions, from the most common to the most rare and difficult. Dr. Adisa is certified by the American Board of Dermatology.
In addition to her position as a staff physician at Dundee Dermatology, Dr. Adisa is an attending physician at the John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital in Chicago, also known as the New Cook County Hospital. At the Stroger Hospital, she serves as attending faculty in the Department of Dermatology. As a member of the academic faculty, Dr. Adisa is responsible for both educating dermatologists in training and supervising the care of patients with challenging skin problems.
Education
Born and raised in Nigeria, Dr. Adisa received her undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University and earned her medical degree from University of Illinois. Following an internship in the NorthShore University Health System, she completed her residency at the John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital.
Academic Achievement
Dr. Adisa distinguished herself throughout her academic career. As a medical student, she conducted science research at the University of Illinois. As a medical graduate, she demonstrates her passion for dermatology education by writing and lecturing on dermatology and other medical topics.
At the John H Stroger Jr. Hospital, Dr. Adisa received intensive dermatology training as part of one of the most respected dermatology programs in the nation. The exceptionally large patient volume at this hospital provided her a depth and breadth of experience that she brings to her patients at Dundee Dermatology.
Leadership
Dr. Adisa continues to enjoy teaching and shares her enthusiasm for dermatology through her informative and popular lectures to medical residents, local hospital staffs and medical groups. She is an active member of the following medical associations:

Family
Dr. Adisa lives in Chicago with her Nigerian-British husband and 2 very active boys. In spite of her very busy career life, she remains involved in her community, volunteering with children's organizations and serving as a mentor for aspiring physicians. With extended family in both England and Nigeria, she travels often to those countries.
