Meet Dr. Sima Jain

Dundee Dermatology is honored to include Dr. Sima Jain as a staff physician. Dr. Jain has special interests in women's health, skin cancer evaluation and treatment, and laser surgery.
Dr. Jain has academic affiliation with the University of Illinois where she currently has the appointment of Assistant Professor in Dermatology. A trusted dermatologist serving the Chicago area, she is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology.
Education
An Illinois native, born in Chicago, Dr. Jain completed undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. She continued on to Florida for medical training and earned her Medical Doctorate at the University of Florida. Dr Jain returned to Chicago for her dermatology training at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center.
Academic Achievement
Dr. Jain has distinguished herself throughout her academic training. As an undergraduate at Johns Hopkins she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Phi Beta Kappa is the most prestigious college honor society, and membership is the highest honor that can be conferred on undergraduate liberal arts and science students.
At the University of Florida College of Medicine, Dr. Jain received her Medical Doctorate with Honors, reflecting the highest level of academic achievement. The academic medical center affiliated with the University of Florida where she received her medical education is consistently ranked as one of the nation's premier health care facilities.
Leadership
At the University of Illinois Chicago Medical Center, Dr. Jain was trained by national thought leaders in adult and pediatric dermatology, dermatologic surgery, and cosmetic surgery. During her training at the University of Illinois she was chosen to become Chief Resident because of her leadership and excellence in teaching. The Chief Resident carries the responsibility of supervising and training junior residents and providing formal dermatology education to medical students. Alpha Omega Alpha, the prestigious medical honor society, selected Dr. Jain to receive their annual Resident Teaching Award for providing "excellent clinical teaching to medical students." Dr. Jain continues to enjoy teaching and is much sought after for her informative and popular lectures to local hospitals and medical groups.
